Time Zone Change and Central Web Services
In preparing for the rollback of daylight savings, on Oct 29th at 2:00am, all servers that honor DST will roll back 1 hour to 1:00am. Time zone changes on Veritas, Champion, and the MySQL Servers (Triton and Callisto).
- If you have any cron jobs running on Unix set to execute between 1:00am and 1:59am on this Sunday morning, they will be submitted twice.
- Applications that depend on the system time zone may be impacted. If you find that applications do not properly handle the time zone change, you will need to adjust your application so that it handles the time zone change accurately.
