IU Web System Maintenance Scheduled

The correct time
frame is 2-2:30am and NOT 6-6:30am.
On Sunday, October 14, from 2:00am - 2:30am, UITS, SAV will be upgrading firmware in our private
GBit
switches. This could result in a disruption of service (for any applications/hosts using the
switch) for about 60 seconds during the switch reboot process.
The web servers, Lux, Hyperion, Viator, and Veritas, which hosts web pages for www.indiana.edu, www.iu.edu, www.iub.edu, www.iuk.edu and www.iun.edu. will possibly be unavailable for 60 seconds at some point between 2:00am - 2:30am on Sunday October 14th.
Web sites with a virtual host URL in those domains will also be unavailable at some point between 2:00am and 2:30am.
Oncourse and Oncourse CL (oncourse.iu.edu), OneStart (onestart.iu.edu), Webmail (webmail.iu.edu), and Outlook Web Access (www.exchange.iu.edu) will not be affected.
