IU Search Pilot Underway
IU Search / http://search.iu.edu parameters have changed.Webmasters with Champion and Veritas sites that provide searching through the IU Search should be aware of these changes.
- The URL search.iu.edu points to the new IU search.
- The search is in beta and changes are likely.
- Some CSS incompatibilities are known, more on that as the pilot matures.
- Site specific searching will be available but the recommendation is to use the Google Search Appliance until the ChaCha pilot becomes production.
You should re-point your search to the Google Search (search5) to keep your search working as expected.
